An Invitation to Personal and Spiritual Growth
Nectar of Peace is an invitation to all, who wish to transform fears into trust, desires into contentment, doubts into clarity, and to once again feel sincere, lasting inner peace.
It is an invitation to active self-enquiry, to face pain with equanimity, and to return to that which gives soul to life.
For many of us, the path to this can seem difficult, unclear, or even hidden. Yet, regardless of our current state, beliefs, or circumstances, the path is always available — at any moment, in any situation — if only we choose to take it.
And those who do choose it realize they are not alone. They come to see that this path has already been walked — paved and illuminated for us by many great teachers and sages, each sharing, in their own way, universal truths, priceless insights, and practical guidance.
It is up to us to walk this path … step by step.
And it is the path itself that carries us toward the goal … from realization to realization.
Activities
All activities of Nectar of Peace share a common goal: to bring the path to lasting inner peace closer to people. These activities are prepared, edited, and shared with you by Mitja Žibert, who has been engaged in this field for over 10 years.
Here you can find inspiration in brief reflections called Whispers on the Path. Through The Nectar of Peace podcast, you can gain a deeper understanding of universal truths and wisdom, helping you lead a better and more easeful life. For a more direct and personalized experience, you can engage with these teachings through individual consultations and guidance with Mitja, or by participating in dedicated group discussions.

Whispers On the Path
Subtle thoughts, guiding to contemplation … to feeling … to Oneself.
Back home
For anyone whose consciousness is trapped in the external and superficial,
that is, in the world and in sensory stimuli and pleasures,
it is of vital importance that one begins with active self-observation and the discovery of truths.
By doing so, one takes important steps toward self-knowledge
and the gradual cleansing of the body, mind, and emotions.
And when the mind becomes sufficiently cleansed and thus calmed,
consciousness intuitively begins to shift and penetrate in a new direction,
away from the worldly and superficial.
It is then that one, for the first time, feels and recognizes
where this newly discovered direction truly leads,
and what the heart has been calling for all along.
What one feels and recognizes is, in fact, the path back to oneself … back home.
In the illusions and dullness of the thinking mind, there is no space for wisdom.
Wisdom is the result of deep self-enquiry and mindful experiencing of life.
Consultations and Guidance
Consultations and guidance on the path of personal and spiritual growth.
Mitja Žibert feels that his vocation in life is twofold: to share universal truths and to help or guide people toward them.
So, alongside hosting the Nectar of Peace podcast, he offers consulting and guidance to individuals as well as groups and teams.
Regardless of the form of his work, Mitja’s approach stays true to the following three key foundations:
- Conversation, which is based on mindful listening and compassion.
- Knowledge, which is based on universal truths and teachings of the great teachers and sages.
- Counsel, which is based on his experience and inner guidance.
More About Mitja
Who I am is less important than what I can offer and share. That is universal and timeless knowledge, carrying within it the answers to humanity’s questions, struggles, and search. What truly matters is this knowledge itself, while I merely serve as a channel and intermediary of it.
It is true that I have the ability to share this knowledge in the right way and in accordance with the current needs of each individual. This means that with a humble and mindful approach, I can convey the relevant knowledge in a way that is understandable to the individual, without sacrificing its essence and wholeness. In this way, the individual is given the best possible answers and the greatest opportunity for necessary change and lasting transformation. I serve as a bridge between knowledge or answers and those who are seeking them.
Yet knowledge is only one part of the whole. The other, equally important part, is each individual who receives it. Whether and how they accept and internalize it naturally depends on them. Thus, this knowledge, which is complete and sufficient in itself, can only become truly effective when it is applied in one’s daily life.
And just as this same knowledge has been shared with me for my own guidance, I now pass it on to all who feel the need or desire for it. My responsibility is to transmit it in the right way. Everything else rests with the knowledge itself, and with the individual who must choose to accept it and live it.
Common Questions About Working with Mitja
Is this guidance right for me?
Like with all consulting work, this question can only be truly answered after a practical experience, how you and Mitja will be able to connect and resonate with each other, and your readiness and willingness to make the necessary steps.
But, if you can relate to the following, it is a strong indication that the answer is yes:
From a darker perspective:
- I can’t get rid of the constant underlying feeling of discontent, disturbance, tension and fear.
- It feels like my life is a never-ending exchange between searching, striving, hoping, wanting, and waiting … and I’m tired of it.
- I can’t seem to make peace with my past, the loss, disease, and above all myself.
- It feels like I am constantly struggling with a lack of vitality, energy, and will.
And, from a lighter perspective:
- I like to believe that there is more to life than I currently know or live … and I want to find out.
- I want to know what the true meaning of contentment, joy, peace, love, and freedom really is … and how all of that really feels.
- I wonder if there is a deeper purpose to my life … and what it is, and how to live it.
- I want to bring my life to a state of natural balance, stability, and health … and then keep that!
- I want to deepen my faith, trust, and calmness … and attract the positive.
If the above, or anything related to it, resonates with you, it means you are conscious of the need for a change … a need that is common to all of us. It just varies in levels of individuals’ awareness, readiness, and willingness. If you feel ready to make new, even small, steps in the right direction, these consultations can provide good guidance on your beautiful journey.
How do individual sessions look like?
Individual sessions, which are scheduled in advance, are conducted in the form of a relaxed and private conversation. Most people come to Mitja with pressing challenges or specific questions they want to resolve. Often, these conversations can also serve as a way to deepen your self-understanding and your understanding of universal teachings, as well as how to apply them in your daily life or a specific situation. Sometimes, the session can also serve as a venting opportunity, where Mitja takes the role of an attentive listener.
Unless otherwise agreed, sessions are usually scheduled for 60 minutes.
Alongside building trust and a relaxed environment, the most important rule for each session that Mitja rigorously follows is confidentiality. So, whatever is shared and expressed by you during such conversations stays strictly (unless otherwise agreed) between you and Mitja. Of course, building such trust sometimes requires time, but with Mitja, people have never had difficulties with that.
Do sessions follow a specific program?
No, there is no pre-defined program or agenda for these sessions, since practice has shown that it is better to have a more spontaneous approach and leave this space open for the time of the meeting. Of course, if you desire or prefer, you can prepare for a meeting with structured questions or a specific topic. In any case, certain topics and conversations may continue across multiple sessions.
There is also no pre-set number of sessions. You are free to choose how many sessions you want as you go. Meetings can be scheduled at regular intervals (e.g., weekly, bi-weekly, monthly) or individually based on your specific needs.
Can I have sessions remotely?
Yes. Actually, most sessions are done via the internet or phone, which is simple to organize and can be done in the convenience and comfort of your chosen location.
There is also the option to meet with Mitja in person, provided that the meeting location is suitable and practical for both.
What is the price for individual sessions?
There is no fixed price for individual sessions. You are free to give as much as you feel is fair and within your financial capacity.
Can I organize group discussions?
Yes, it is possible to organize group discussions. These are usually intended for more general discussions and explanations of universal teaching concepts, and how they can be applied in our daily lives. But, if participants feel comfortable with each other, there is also an opportunity to tackle individual problems or challenges they may face.
Due to the nature of the group setup, these meetings usually last longer than individual sessions and are scheduled on a regular basis (bi-weekly, monthly, etc.), but this is also flexible and can be adjusted per agreement with the organizer.
As with individual sessions, group meetings can also be conducted either via the internet or locally, provided that the location is practical for both Mitja and all group participants.
Is consulting also possible for companies and teams?
Yes, Mitja has successfully conducted many such consulting sessions over the last several years.
The main focus in a company setup includes (but is not limited to):
- Responsibility and a positive attitude toward work
- Stress and burnout reduction
- Resolving challenges in relationships
- Constructive and clear communication
- A humane and efficient approach to leadership and management
Such teamwork is mostly done on an individual basis, meaning working individually with each team member. But, in some situations, it can also be conducted in pairs (e.g., mediation) or groups.
